Sarla Aviation Signs MoU with IndiaOne Air at Wings India 2026 to Boost Regional Aviation

2 Feb 2026

During Wings India 2026, Sarla Aviation signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with IndiaOne Air to explore a strategic partnership focused on Short Take-Off and Landing (STOL) aircraft.

IndiaOne Air operates at the heart of regional aviation in India, connecting smaller airports and historically underserved cities, making this collaboration a natural fit for both parties.

Through this agreement:

Sarla Aviation strengthens its understanding of aircraft design specifically developed for regional air connectivity.

IndiaOne Air evaluates Sarla’s aircraft as part of its fleet modernization plans.

Both organizations explore how short-haul aviation in India can be more accessible, efficient, and future-proof.

The MoU was signed in the presence of the Secretary of India’s Ministry of Civil Aviation, Shri Samir Kumar Sinha, underscoring the growing momentum for regional connectivity and next-generation aviation in the country.

More than a partnership, this initiative represents a rethinking of how aircraft are designed, where they can operate, and whom they can serve.

Smaller runways. Bigger ambitions.

The next chapter of regional aviation in India is already taking shape.
