Pivotal Reaches Historic Milestone: BlackFly eVTOL Surpasses 1,000 Crewed Flights

Bentonville, Arkansas – September 29, 2025 – Pivotal, the leader in lightweight electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, announced that one of its BlackFly aircraft has surpassed 1,000 crewed flights, the highest number achieved by a powered eVTOL in history.

The company has developed dozens of aircraft that collectively have completed more than 8,000 flights, including 2,000 piloted flights, consolidating the operational maturity, innovation, and reliability of its technology. In the past three years alone, its aircraft have flown in more than 100 locations across the United States.

This milestone reaffirms Pivotal’s position as a leader in the eVTOL industry, demonstrating that personal electric flight is now a tangible and reliable reality.
