Montana Renewables Joins ISCC – The International Sustainability and Carbon Certification Association

Montana Renewables announced its official membership in the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification Association (ISCC), an international organization that promotes global standards for the sustainable production of biomass, circular and bio-based materials, and renewable fuels.

Membership reinforces the company’s commitment to transparency, traceability, and compliance with internationally recognized sustainability standards, key aspects for developing responsible supply chains in the energy sector. ISCC plays a significant role in certifying processes that aim to reduce carbon footprints and ensure sustainable practices throughout the entire value chain.

As one of the leading producers of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) and renewable fuels in North America, Montana Renewables stated that this alignment with ISCC strengthens its mission to drive lower-carbon solutions and support the transition to a more sustainable energy future.

The company also stated that it looks forward to actively collaborating with other ISCC members, contributing to the ongoing development of standards and best practices that support the decarbonization of transportation and aviation globally.
