Mombak has just announced its Series A funding round, amounting to US$30 million, as reported by Brazil Journal.

This new round, led by Union Square Ventures and with participation from Kaszek Ventures, Lowercarbon Capital, AXA IM Alts, Bain Capital, and Copa Investimentos, represents an important step in the expansion of its efforts to build the largest carbon removal initiative through reforestation in the Amazon.

“We decided to raise funds because we understand that we are moving from a startup phase to a scale-up phase,” says Gabriel Haddad Silva.
