Joby Aviation and Uber Complete Historic Uber Air Demonstration in Dubai

25 Feb 2026

Joby Aviation announced the official completion of a historic product and flight demonstration in Dubai, conducted in partnership with its strategic partner Uber, showcasing the first glimpse of the integrated Uber Air experience.

The demonstration demonstrated how ground-to-air travel can be easily booked through the digital platform, offering a seamless, one-touch experience from the app to boarding. This milestone represents a key step in the integration of ground and air mobility, solidifying the urban service model based on eVTOL (electric VTOL).

The company also announced that later today it will hold its fourth-quarter and full-year 2025 earnings call in Santa Cruz, where it will provide an update on its progress and goals for 2026.

In parallel, Joby revealed that it will share a behind-the-scenes look at a symbolic moment for the company: a flight from Marina to its original headquarters in Bonny Doon, in the Santa Cruz mountains, marking the return of its aircraft “home” as it prepares for new eIPP program demonstrations in various cities across the United States.

From its beginnings in the California mountains to digital bookings in Dubai and upcoming demonstration operations in the US, the company highlights its continued progress toward the commercialization of advanced air mobility.
