HYPERIAN AEROSPACE Introduces SKYMASTER™, the World’s First VTOL Drone Carrier

3 Feb 2026

HYPERIAN AEROSPACE has unveiled SKYMASTER™, the world’s first VTOL drone carrier designed specifically for advanced military operations. The platform introduces a new approach to multi-domain warfare by integrating launch, recovery, maintenance, and swarm command within a single VTOL aircraft, operable without runways, fixed infrastructure, or forward operating bases.

Unlike traditional “mothership” concepts, SKYMASTER is designed as a fully integrated tactical system capable of projecting and managing large fleets of drones in contested environments. Its design incorporates a military-grade modular cargo bay, a multi-drone launch and recovery architecture, an onboard AI-powered swarm command and control system, and autonomous sustainment capabilities, including predictive diagnostics and real-time telemetry.

Thanks to its multi-theater VTOL mobility, SKYMASTER can operate from ships, urban rooftops, remote forward operating bases, or unprepared terrain, transforming into a mobile platform for ISR, electronic warfare, force protection, and unmanned logistics. With an approximate range of 3,000 miles, speeds approaching Mach 0.94, and compatibility with multiple fuel types, the platform sets a new standard for the large-scale deployment of military drones.
