Eve Air Mobility Signs Second Binding Order with AirX in Japan

Eve Air Mobility, a company dedicated to the development of electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, has signed a firm order agreement with AirX, a Japanese operator specializing in urban air mobility and premium charter flights. The agreement includes the initial purchase of two eVTOLs, with delivery scheduled for 2029, and options for up to 48 additional aircraft as AirX expands its operations in Japan.

This contract represents Eve Air Mobility’s first agreement in the Asia-Pacific region and reinforces AirX’s strategy of implementing efficient, zero-emission air transportation solutions, including tourist routes and last-mile missions in cities such as Tokyo and Osaka. Both companies emphasize that the collaboration marks a key step toward a new era of sustainable urban air mobility in Japan.
