Dragale Aviation Unveils the DX-1 eVTOL Concept for Urban Air Ambulances

10 Feb 2026

Dragale Aviation has shared an early visual concept of its DX-1 eVTOL air ambulance, a platform specifically designed for critical medical missions in urban environments, where every minute can mean the difference between life and death.

In many cities, ground ambulances lose valuable time due to traffic congestion. For critically ill patients, these delays can directly impact their chances of survival. The DX-1 eVTOL aims to address this challenge by enabling direct rooftop-to-roof transfers between hospitals, completely bypassing traffic congestion.

The project’s approach is based on practical, results-oriented principles, prioritizing:

  • Faster transfers of critically ill patients
  • Direct integration with existing and future hospital infrastructure via vertiports
  • Safer and more efficient access to emergency care
  • A design specifically for medical missions, differentiating it from eVTOLs designed for urban air taxis

Dragale Aviation emphasizes that this initiative is not about showcasing a futuristic concept for promotional purposes, but rather about solving a real and urgent problem related to response time, access to healthcare, and clinical outcomes.

With the DX-1 eVTOL, the company focuses on how Advanced Air Mobility can have a direct impact on the healthcare sector, improving emergency response capabilities and saving lives in densely congested urban environments.
