Arcadia eFuels and ATOBA Energy Partner for Global eSAF Supply

27-oct-2025

Arcadia eFuels announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ATOBA Energy for the supply of synthetic sustainable aviation fuel (eSAF). Under the agreement, ATOBA will purchase up to 150,000 tons of eSAF for each Arcadia project over a 10-year period.

Unlike conventional fossil fuels, eSAF is produced from renewable electricity, water, and captured CO₂, reducing greenhouse gas emissions by more than 90% over its lifecycle. This supply volume could avoid at least 400,000 tons of CO₂ for each operating site.

Amy Hebert, CEO of Arcadia eFuels, highlighted:

“At Arcadia eFuels, we are committed to offering practical and scalable solutions to decarbonize aviation. ATOBA Energy plays a key role in connecting supply and demand, enabling the growth of the eSAF sector with long-term competitive pricing.”

For his part, Arnaud Namer, CEO of ATOBA Energy, commented:

“Arcadia eFuels is leading one of the most advanced eFuel projects in Europe. This partnership reinforces our strategy of securing reliable supply sources that accelerate the transition to net-zero aviation.”

The agreement underscores the importance of long-term commitments from buyers to drive eSAF production and scale-up globally.
