Air BP Aramco Poland Sp. z o.o. completes its first SAF delivery, marking a milestone in Poland

July 4 2025

Air bp Aramco proudly announces the first delivery of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) in the company’s history, which also represents the first operation of its kind at Warsaw Chopin Airport (Okęcie).

The delivered SAF was produced using HEFA technology, fully complying with international standards for quality and traceability of the sustainable origin of raw materials. This type of fuel can be used directly in aircraft, in the same way as conventional fuel, without requiring technical modifications.

🔍 This achievement was made possible thanks to:
• Obtaining a foreign trade license
• ISCC EU certification, which guarantees compliance with sustainability and traceability requirements throughout the entire supply chain

🌱 SAF can reduce greenhouse gas emissions by up to 80% over its life cycle, compared to traditional aviation fuels.
